Dan Ewing, a former star of Home & Away, and his fiancée Kat Rieteska welcomed their second child.
The overjoyed parents shared a tonne of lovely baby pictures along with the news on Instagram.
Dan wrote, “My beloved daughter.”
“I am positive that one very special guardian angel in particular sent you here. Your lovely mother, your older brother Archie, and I are very grateful that you ended up with us.
“Dear little child, welcome to the world. 22/07/2022. I’m Nevaeh Catherine Ewing.
I’ve been waiting my entire life for this moment, Kat wrote on her own Instagram as she shared the news of the arrival. On the 22.7.22, at 11:15 a.m., our lovely daughter Nevaeh Catherine Ewing joined the world. @_danewing, you have so filled our hearts.
In March 2022, Dan announced their exciting news of their impending baby. The actor took to Instagram to share the good news with his followers and shared a cute video of him hugging Kat while she displayed her growing baby bump.
He captioned the video, “Miracle no. 2 on the way.”
Big brothers Archie and Boston and I are so excited to welcome our new little friend, @katristeska!
“I’ve waited my whole life for you Angel,” Kat wrote in a post to her personal Instagram account sharing the same video.
“We are ecstatic to be growing our family, @_danewing. Your parents and big brothers Archie and Boston are eager to meet you. Little One xx, you are already very cherished.
Boston, the family dog, and Archie, Dan’s seven-year-old son who he shares with his ex-wife Marni Little, are surely thrilled to be big brothers.
It happens after the couple made their engagement public on Christmas Day of last year, a few weeks before Dan proposed on December 9.
He said on Instagram, “All I want for Christmas is…,” while posting a close-up picture of Kat’s finger with the ring.
The same image, as well as another of the couple joyfully embracing soon after the proposal, were shared on Instagram by Kat as well.
Dan took some time on New Year’s Eve to look back on the previous year and express his excitement for the one that lies ahead after a “huge year of progress” for his family in 2021.
“We experienced amazing success and significant loss. All paths lead to us, that much is constant, he wrote in the caption.
“I am so very grateful for my tiny crew this year more than ever.”
