On the upcoming Australian episode of Home and Away, Tane asks Felicity whether she would think twice about becoming a mother to him. Will her denial destroy them?

In an upcoming episode of Home and Away, Tane is set to surprise Felicity with a big proposal that could potentially lead to their breakup, according to a new teaser.

Two years prior, Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) and Tane (Ethan Browne) first became friends when Tane went to a party in an attempt to forget about his former partner Ziggy (Sophie Dillman), who had just gotten back together with her former boyfriend Dean (Patrick O’Connor).

When the flirtatious young lady stepped up on the bar to dance in the Coyote Ugly fashion and then jumped behind it to pour herself a drink, she instantly made an impression on the Parata brother.

Tane and Flick shared a night together, and when Tane attempted to leave the next morning, he was shocked to see Flick’s brother and housemate, local police officer Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright), in the garden.

Their relationship got off to a rough start when Tane, fresh off a separation, rejected Felicity for a brief liaison. Soon after, he began to feel hounded and received red roses from an unknown person. He began to assume Flick was the person behind his covert admiration.

Flick was compelled to take an AVO out on Tane as he kept accusing her.

As it turned out, the real culprit was Flick’s friend Anne (Megan Smart), who harboured resentment against Tane for treating her badly the night of Ryder’s (Lukas Radovich) 21st birthday.

After putting it behind them, Tane and Felicity understood they did have feelings for one another. Over the course of the next two years, they went from being engaged to being almost married to getting married in person.

Tane, a family man, was taken aback early in their relationship when Felicity expressed no desire to have children. Tane put the matter to rest, while disappointed, telling Flick that she was enough for him.

Tane surprised Felicity with a significant proposal last week. At first Felicity thought her husband wanted to bring up the subject of babies again, so she freaked out. But when he told her that all he wanted was for them to go to New Zealand and leave their current life in Summer Bay behind, she felt a little comforted.

Felicity wasn’t sure, but Tane put more pressure on her, telling her that he had discovered a piece of property where they could build their own home and that they needed to submit an offer today in order to secure it.

Felicity concurred, and it appeared that the two were ready to cross the Tazman!

Felicity is taken by surprise this week as Tane makes a second proposal, the one she had been dreading.

Tane says to Felicity, “We’ve changed,” as they stroll down the beach together. “I wonder if things are different for you now after seeing that..”

“How do you feel about attempting to conceive a child?”

Felicity’s expression says it all.

She bolts, presumably giving Tane ample indication that she hasn’t altered her mind.

In the Lyrik house’s garden, Felicity eventually lets Eden in on her feelings, telling her closest friend, “It’s my choice to make.”

“But I have to accept that Tane is hurt by it.”

They later reunite at the beach, and she tells him, “I don’t wanna hurt you.”

“I have no intention of changing my mind about having a child.”

“Where does that leave us?” Felicity asks Tane few moments later as they reassemble on the sofa in the Parata living room.

Tane tells Felicity, “I don’t know where that leaves us,” in spite of his earlier claims that he was fine with her not wanting children and that she was enough.

Felicity is all too familiar with Tane’s reassurances.

She recalls him, “You told me that I was enough when you looked me in the eye.” “Do you still think I’m enough?”

The couple is seen in the teaser sitting outside in front of a fire, looking distraught.

Shall this shatter them?

Ethan Browne and Jacqui Purvis have been spotted filming in recent weeks, so we can confirm that Tane and Felicity aren’t heading to New Zealand anytime soon. However, there’s been no official confirmation on whether the couple is still together.
