After getting married last month, former Home and Away actor Luke Jacobz has revealed that his wife Raychel is expecting a child.
Jacobz uploaded a picture of himself grinning next to Raychel’s growing baby bulge on Instagram to announce the good news that he and his wife are expecting a child.
The dog belonging to the pair, Dash, is seen in the picture licking Raychel’s growing tummy, which is hidden by a baby vest that reads, “And then there were four.”
“2023 has been a very exciting year! November brings a baby and a June wedding, wrote Jacobz as the caption. “Our home is already filled with so much love, and we can’t wait to welcome our little one. My amazing wife truly inspires me! She’s doing such a terrific job!”
Danni Minogue, a former star of Home and Away, was one of first to congratulate the couple on their announcement and wrote: “Congratulations.”
“Wow, that’s amazing! Congratulations, girls,” commented Emily Weir, a fellow Home and Away star.
After having their wedding postponed twice owing to lockdowns related to the COVID-19 epidemic, Jacobz and Stuart finally got married last month.
Jacobz, who played police officer Angelo Rosetta in the Australian soap from 2008 to 2011 before making a brief comeback in 2020, revealed in an interview with New Idea that he had started to lose hope of ever marrying his partner.
When the ceremony was finally underway, Jacobz claimed that he ran out of Kleenex while waiting at the end of the aisle for Raychel.
“I was a mess,” he said. “We’ve been waiting so long for it to happen, I just about lost it when I saw Raychel. In the end, I used every tissue instead of Raychel, which was the original plan.
