Dan Ewing, a former star of Home and Away, has welcomed a daughter into the world with fiancée Kat Risteska.

After meeting in 2016, the happy parents announced their engagement on Christmas Day, seven months after the baby was born.

“My dear daughter,” Ewing, 37, began the Instagram caption. I’m confident that a certain, very special guardian angel sent you here.

“Your lovely mother, your older brother Archie, and I are very grateful that you ended up with us. Young girl, welcome to the world.

Nevaeh Catherine Ewing, the child’s name, was born on July 22.

Three images were posted by the former SAS Australia recruit, one of which was taken just after Nevaeh arrived.

Another photo showed Ewing holding the baby who was wrapped in a hospital blanket and smiled.

In the comments, friends hurried to congratulate the new “female dad.”

“I want to congratulate everyone. Sam Webb, an actor, remarked, “She is a beauty, mate, very thrilled for you guys, big love brother.”

Kyle Pryor, who plays Dan, congratulated the actor.

The actor revealed “miracle number two” in a video of Ewing kissing Risteska’s expanding baby bump in March.

Ewing and his ex-wife Marni Little have a second kid, Archie, who is seven. Little and Ewing divorced in 2016.

She has altered my life

Later in 2016, the actor got to know Risteska, and they both starred in Ewing’s film Occupation: Rainfall.

In December 2021, Ewing gave an exclusive interview to 7Entertainment regarding his connection with Risteska.

They cherished lockdowns, he said, and used them as an excuse to spend extra time together.

We didn’t overthink lockdown because we loved it. You’re keeping things in perspective and discovering walking pathways close to your home that you had no idea existed, the 37-year-old stated at the time.

When they first started working together in 2016, he described it as “unreal” and that he enjoyed “seeing her in her element.”

She “kind of stole the show” in the first Occupation with her little cameo, and in [Occupation: Rainfall] she plays a resistance fighter and keeps the boots, if you get what I mean.

She’s changed my life, she’s such a beautiful woman, and she’s easily the most kind person I know, I’m a fan, it’s quite wonderful, he added.
