‘To keep myself active and pay the bills, I also do building work,’ the 46-year-old Australian actor told The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday.

‘It does relieve some of the burden,’ the father of two added.

Matt, who describes acting as his “primary interest” when he’s not working on construction projects, takes on film and television roles whenever they come up.

‘If anything comes along now, terrific; I’d love the opportunity; if it doesn’t, no worries; I’ve got other things to do and things to keep myself occupied with, so it keeps me grounded,’ he said.
