When he was dating Toadie’s future wife, Dee Bliss, Joel was last seen ten years ago!
Toadie and Melanie Pearson’s (Lucinda Cowden) impending nuptials are the reason Joel is in town.
Joel is interested to learn of Toadie’s dispute with their mutual acquaintance, Amy Greenwood (Jacinta Stapleton), who looks to have departed and returned to Cairns, since he keeps up with all the most recent rumours and news from Erinsborough.
Change is afoot as Terese Willis, the ex-girlfriend of Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), and he both make arrangements to leave Erinsborough.
Paul intends to relocate to New York to reunite with some of his adult children after selling Lassiters Hotel to his old friend Shane Ramsay (Peter O’Brien).
Glen Donnelly, Terese’s current companion, has persuaded her to purchase the eco-retreat outside of River Bend (Richard Huggett).
Glen is beginning to see that Terese and his half-brother, Paul, still have unresolved issues.
Terese and Paul are once more drawn into each other’s orbits as they pack things to move.
A SURPRISE discovery is made by Terese, which Glen might not be too pleased about.
