The popular soap opera Neighbours has teased the poignant last moments that will air on Friday by releasing a first look at the episode.

After leaving Ramsay Street as than 30 years ago, a brief film sees pop icons Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan returning as Charlene and Scott Robinson. Fans cannot wait to see the actors return as the alter personalities that launched their separate careers. The stars decided to reprise their legendary roles alongside a number of other well-known names.

Scott’s brother Paul (Stefan Dennis) and his estranged wife Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) are also present, and viewers are hoping that they will get back together before the characters leave the show.

As Karl (Alan Fletcher) and Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) get ready to bid farewell to their pals, master manipulator Izzy Hoyland (Natalie Bassingthwaighte) is about to deliver a very poignant scenario. Toadie Rebecchi, a good friend, nevertheless (Ryan Moloney) assures them that they will always be in each other’s lives.

In the meantime, Mike Young (Guy Pearce) is soon to return home and is planning to meet up with ex-girlfriend Jane Harris (Annie Jones), who is unsure of her own future.

Filming on Neighbours ended in June after the cancellation of the show was announced earlier this year. Since then, several former cast members have expressed tribute, and Channel 5’s controller has revealed what factors contributed to the show’s downfall.
