Natalie Imbruglia and Holly Valance return for Neighbours finale

According to rumours, Natalie Imbruglia and Holly Valance will make an appearance in this week’s upcoming Neighbours finale.

The Sun claims that the two shot a sequence together in London. Although Imbruglia and Valance appeared in different seasons of the Australian soap opera, it appears that they have come together to pay respect to Neighbours alongside a number of other former Ramsay Street residents.

Imbruglia played Beth Brennan, who married Brad Willis (at the time, played by Scott Michaelson), in the 1990s, as long-time viewers may recall. Imbruglia has never actually shared a screen with actor Ben Hall, who is also repeating his role as Ned Willis, despite the fact that she played Ned’s mother in the film. Ned recently travelled to Sydney to join Beth, who was last seen there in 1994.

Valance, meanwhile, played Felicity “Flick” Scully from 1999 to 2002; she last appeared on TV in 2005. When last heard from, Flick had relocated to Hollywood from New York. It has already been announced that Carla Bonner, who plays the character’s older sister Steph, will return for Neighbours’ conclusion.

A source informed The Sun the following regarding Imbruglia and Valance’s comeback: “It was extremely unique; the fans will adore it. They may even make a brief reference to their pop careers.”

Prior to this most recent information, Neighbours made it known that Margot Robbie, Delta Goodrem, Kym Valentine, and Jesse Spencer will appear in the conclusion. Goodrem played Nina Tucker, while Robbie played Donna Freedman.

Their on-screen brother Mal has already been reunited with parents Karl (Alan Fletcher) and Susan (Jackie Woodburne) in recent weeks. Valentine and Spencer played Libby and Billy Kennedy, respectively.

The final episode of the drama will feature these characters in unexpected ways, so fans will just have to wait and see. The only hint we have as to what Flick and Beth are up to in London is that it might have something to do with the vocal prowess of the actors who play them.
