The only thing on Ned’s (Ben Hall) thoughts is his dirty little tryst with Harlow (Jemma Donovan) in the waterfall. He’s concerned about what might happen with Harlow in Neighbours, despite the fact that he and Amy (Jacinta Stapleton) have patched things up.

Amy, on the other hand, has completely different thoughts as she prepares to begin planning their future together. Someone should alert Ned.

Roxy (Zima Anderson) is determined to start a family with Kyle (Chris Milligan) after passing up the Montana Marcel opportunity to focus on her family. Amy’s baby fever is contagious, as it makes her fantasise about getting pregnant and having her own children. It was such a special time, and now she’s thinking about what life might be like if she had another. Her recent troubles with Zara (Freya Van Dyke) haven’t deterred her in any way.

While she is considering having a child, Ned is distracted with another woman — Harlow is taking up space in his mind, and his thoughts are far from those of a mother. He’s borderline obsessed, and it’s awkward when he asks whether she’s going to England to get away from him. She flatly denies it, and the exchange irritates them both.

And just as Ned’s mind is completely consumed by thoughts of Harlow, Amy drops the bombshell: she wants to be the father of his child. Wowsa, he didn’t see that coming. He tells her he needs to think about it after being caught off guard by her plea.

She tries to accommodate his request by giving him some space, but only for two minutes. She’s overjoyed at the possibility of starting their own family, and she says the B word more times than Ned cares to count. Ned is panicking out inside; they’ve only recently rekindled their romance, and he’s not sure he sees them having children. Is she going to make him run for the hills (and straight into Harlow’s bed) with her baby talk?
