Dan Ewing, who starred in Home and Away, is going to become a father-of-two after learning that his fiancée Kat Risteska is expecting their first child.
Dan shared the happy news with his Instagram followers on Sunday night, posting a touching video of him embracing Kat while she flaunted her baby bulge.
He captioned the video, “Miracle number two on the way!”
“@katristeska, my older brothers Archie and Boston, as well as myself, are very excited to meet our new little buddy!!”
“I’ve waited my whole life for you Angel,” Kat captioned the video on her Instagram account.
“@ danewing and I are ecstatic to be adding to our family. Archie and Boston, Mummy, Daddy, and Big Bro, can’t wait to meet you. xx”
Dan’s seven-year-old son Archie, whom he shares with his ex-wife Marni Little, is ecstatic to be a big brother, as is Boston, the family dog.
It comes after the couple revealed their engagement on Christmas Day last year, a few weeks before Dan proposed on December 9.
“All I want for Christmas is…,” he said on Instagram, accompanied by a close-up image of Kat’s ring.
Kat shared the identical shot on Instagram, as well as another of the couple excitedly embracing shortly after the proposal.
Dan took a minute on New Year’s Eve to reflect on the previous year and express his optimism for the year ahead after his family experienced a “huge year of progress” in 2021.
