After quitting the famous serial, Sam Frost has officially started production for the travel show My Road to Adventure.

The Channel 7 star has shared behind-the-scenes footage from filming and life on the road with fans via Instagram stories.

Season two of My Road to Adventure, which will debut later this year on 7plus, provides an intimate look into the secret holidaying lives of some of Australia’s most well-known celebrities.

Former footy stars Brendan Fevola and Matthew Richardson, as well as swimmer Brooke Hanson, have all been on the show.

In 2020, Sam visited Hervey Bay on the Fraser Coast in Queensland for episode two of the lifestyle and travel show.

On the show, the celebrities don’t stay in opulent hotels; instead, they stay in holiday parks in a caravan, motorhome, or camper trailer.

Sam and her family appear to be in country Victoria this time, as the actress shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram.

The first image saw Sam’s family gathering around a grazing table in front of a wonderful lakeside vista, beers in hand.

The actress then posted a photo of the family, who were now sat around the table with photographers in the background.

“Just act natural and be yourselves @myroadtoadventure au,” Sam wrote alongside a clapperboard emoji.

Then there was a video of the family playing a really furious game of Uno.

Sam moved the camera around to show everyone’s attentive expressions, with a few of them looking up to smile for the camera.

“We’re having the BEST time filming with an awesome crew of folks @camerondamonmedia,” Sam commented in a separate storey.

Rundell’s Mahogany Trail Rides in Warrnambool, Victoria, is the next stop.

The 32-year-old posted two videos, one of her petting a horse and the other showed her riding a horse with her cousin and sister.

Departure from Home and Away

Sam will leave Home and Away permanently in December 2021, according to Channel Seven.

Sam, who debuted as Jasmine Delaney on the iconic soap in 2017, previously stated in January that she would be “temporarily” written off the show while undergoing a “medical procedure.”

She wouldn’t be fully immunised until mid- to late-February as a result of the operation.

She did, however, decide to depart permanently afterwards.

A representative for Seven said, “We support and appreciate Sam’s decision to leave Home and Away.”

“Sam departs us with our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes for the future.”

Sam’s resignation was not thought to be tied to Seven’s vaccination policy.
