Next month, Rhiannon Fish, a former cast member of Home and Away, will feature in a brand-new romantic comedy that is being shot on Queensland’s K’gari Fraser Island.

The 32-year-old brunette will portray an American competitor on a reality dating show akin to The Bachelor who enters the battle purely for financial gain but ultimately finds love.

The Australian-produced movie, He Loves Me Not, will also include Georgie Parker, 58, who is well-known for being the beloved lead of Channel Seven’s popular 1980s soap opera A Country Practise.

According to The Courier Mail, Queensland filmmaker Tam Sainsbury, who will be directing the movie, is now finalising sites on K’gari Fraser Island in preparation for filming in October.

Fraser Island, located 250 kilometres north of Brisbane on the Queensland coast, is well-known for its breathtaking beauty.

The luxurious Kingfisher Bay Resort will serve as a key location for the movie, according to Sainsbury’s plans.

In contrast, Fish became well-known in 2010 when she appeared in the Seven serial opera Home and Away as April.
