Star of Home and Away Lynne McGranger disclosed that she had bruises and bloodstains after an odd mishap.

This week, the actress Irene Roberts shared on Instagram the outcome of a regrettable incident that occurred when she was walking her daughter’s dog.

A few minutes apart, Lynne posted two pictures of herself: one with the dog and her daughter’s mother-in-law, and another with bruises and blood on her face and lips.

“Take a minute to walk your son-in-law’s and daughter’s dog with your mother of the groom, @annette_dickson. Nek minit, you’ve got the road face planted,” the caption read.

The actress received a deluge of congratulations from her Instagram followers, which included Sarah Roberts, a former cast member of Home and Away, among others.

“Lorie, oh my goodness! I was hoping that was makeup applied on set, but I’m sending love,” Roberts tweeted.

Lynne was reassured by her Australian soap opera star Ethan Browne, who plays Tane Parata, that she looked “pretty badass” despite her scars. “I hope everything is well with you, Lynne,” he said.

The mother of her son-in-law, Annette Dickson, who was with Lynne at the time of the accident, may have had the funniest reaction.

“I swear I didn’t push her or stumble over her. Dickson joked, “Poor love, that wasn’t a good sight. 😽 the ashphalt.”

The actress recently made waves when she disclosed that she was thinking about not attending this year’s Australian Logie Awards.

Since Home and Away airs on a competing network, Lynne revealed that she got “the screaming jimjams” when she learned that the channel that televised the Logie Awards a few years ago had cut her speech short on television. Lynne did, in the end, make it to the Logies this year.
