In the television series Home and Away, Rose Delaney (Kirsty Marillier) want to leave town.
When Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) mentioned that the flat above the Diner was available for rent, Xander Delaney (Luke Van Os) was delighted.
He and his sister Rose have been residing in a caravan park, therefore he is eager to relocate to a larger home. Sadly, Rose isn’t as enthusiastic as he is.
Rose believes it would be best if she left before Cash Newman’s girlfriend, Rose and Xander’s sister Jasmine Delaney (Sam Frost), returned to the Bay after seeing her late husband’s ill mother because of all the recent drama with Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright).
Rose regretfully announces her decision to leave Summer Bay as she approaches the flat to investigate it.
Xander confronts Cash about Rose’s intentions to leave Summer Bay because he has had enough of the conflict between Rose and Cash.
Cash begs Rose to stay because he feels bad about driving his girlfriend’s sister out of town.
Is he able to persuade her to remain in the Bay?
Or will she change her mind if she runs into a hot stranger?
Police officer Rose is speaking to her sergeant on the phone when a charming stranger interrupts her to ask if she wants to cancel her employment transfer to Summer Bay. The hot handyman doing odd jobs for Marilyn Chambers is named Tex Wheeler (Lucas Lineham) (Emily Symons).
Tex introduces himself to Rose and offers to buy her a coffee, but she declines the offer because she is preoccupied with her own problems.
However, Rose later chooses to meet Tex for a drink, and the two get along like a house on fire until a startled Xander interrupts them.
He believed she was still fixated on Cash. How did she get so far so quickly?
First aid is administered to a concussed surfer by Summer Bay lifeguards Nikau Parata (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) and John Palmer (Shane Withington).
When Nikau goes to get the surfer’s board, though, he stumbles on something sharp and ends up needing medical attention as well.
Nikau must visit the hospital to have one of the sea urchin’s sharp spines removed after John examines his foot and determines that he trod on one.
Ouch!
When Nikau is taken care of by Naomi Stevens (Jamaica Vaughan), the sister of the young girl he recently saved, at the hospital, he is taken aback.
While Naomi tends to Nikau’s sore foot, she manages to cheer him up with some jokes, but as his temperature rises and the nausea comes in, his condition worsens.
After Nikau gets an x-ray taken of his foot, Naomi finds the issue.
Nikau will need to have a toxic spine surgically removed from his foot because it is still lodged there.
How will Nikau fare?
