Since newcomer Heather (Sofia Nolan) started acting oddly toward her, Marilyn (Emily Symons) has been the target of some stunning charges.
In the most recent development, John (Shane Withington) has questioned her regarding Jett’s scathing remark that said that he is a disappointment because he is adopted and came from her internet account.
Marilyn is furious and adamant that she didn’t compose the message, but Roo (Georgie Parker) questions whether Marilyn should visit a doctor due to her unusual behaviour. Alf (Ray Meagher), in contrast, rejects the notion that Marilyn is to blame and instead concludes that her account must have been hacked. The worst is yet to come, though.
When she reads a negative tutoring review online, Roo is incensed and accuses Marilyn of ruining her career.
Marilyn runs out from the argument because she is deeply hurt that Roo would think she is capable of such behaviour. She is advised to report the crime by Irene (Lynne McGranger), but Cash has become cold and heartless after the shooting. Marilyn starts to think that everyone is out to get her.
The tension in his home irritates Alf, who advises that he take Marilyn to the hospital to determine whether her prescription needs to be reviewed. In an effort to accommodate everyone, Marilyn concedes. Bree (Juliet Godwin), as she had expected, gives Marilyn the all-clear at the hospital, leaving Alf to question what else might be going on with her if it isn’t a medical problem.
The following day, Marilyn sets out on a covert operation and, after determining that Heather’s van is empty, sneaks inside. While Marilyn is unobserved, Heather, who is standing a few metres away, sees a chance to make Marilyn appear more worse.
She pretends to contact the police in a panic and report that her van has been broken into. Alf and Marilyn are shocked when Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) arrives to arrest Marilyn.
