Chris Hemsworth, 38, appears to be unable to accomplish one thing: fish.
On Monday, the Thor actor went fishing with friends and got his rod hooked in a tree.
‘Hey Hemsy, what have you got there, mate?’ In one film, one of his friends can be heard exclaiming, “He’s got the tree!” while giggling wildly.
‘It was a big one, but we had to let him go because of the environment,’ Chris laughed about the gaffe.
On Instagram, the beefy star uploaded a series of clips and a selfie with his 54 million fans.
‘Geez, how fantastic fishing,’ he captioned his photo. I’m really excellent at it.’
Lauren Phillips, his co-host, disclosed that her boyfriend, private jet tycoon Paul O’Brien, was also on the boat, and chastised him for laughing at Chris in the footage.
‘I’m not sure what’s making you laugh, Paul. She joked, ‘You didn’t exactly return with your hands full either.’
Chris is best recognized for his role as Thor in the successful Marvel films. He rose to fame on Neighbours and Home and Away.
Thor: Love and Thunder, the next part in the franchise, will be published on July 8, and Chris has assured that fans would ‘laugh and cry’ while watching it.
Natalie Portman also appears in the film and will be the one to take over Thor’s hammer.
