With her addition to the cast as Dr. Bree Cameron, Juliet Godwin will be Home and Away’s newest face.
The young actress from Perth will visit Summer Bay “very soon” and add to the dynamic drama on the popular Channel 7 programme.
The actor was pictured posing on the beach while costumed as the character for the Instagram photo that shared the news.
Godwin, 28, was holding a surfboard while wearing a blue one-piece swimsuit with flowery accents.
What the doctor ordered, exactly! The caption stated, “Bree, our new doctor, is coming to make some waves in Summer Bay very soon.
“I’m so happy to be here! I appreciate being here, Godwin said.
The actress, who was born in Zimbabwe, will appear on Channel 7 and 7plus in August when the programme resumes after the Commonwealth Games.
The actress wrote: “So pleased to present Dr. Bree and share what I’ve been up to for the past 5 months!” on her own Instagram. I appreciate being a part of @homeandaway.
Fans responded to the news online, saying things like “she’s going to make trouble” and “I think I’m running a temperature,” among other things.
Godwin will join the cast of Home and Away, along with four additional performers who have recently been confirmed.
As members of the band Lyrik, Rob Mallet, Angelina Thomson, Adam Rowland, and Stephanie Panozzo were introduced to the audience earlier this month.
After well-known figures like Sam Frost, Lukas Radovich, Harley Bonner, and Courtney Miller left the scene, they arrived.
In the popular soap opera, Frost made her debut as Jasmine Delaney in 2017.
Her departure was declared to be permanent in December.
Fans believe Godwin’s portrayal of a doctor will take the place of Bonner, who left the drama earlier this year after 84 episodes in 2021 and 2022 as Dr. Logan Bennett.
Fans couldn’t help but mention Logan, the former doctor in town, when the soap opera announced Godwin’s arrival in the area on Instagram.

Home and Away returns
The ensemble was sighted filming in the NSW town of Young earlier this month.
The outside sequences of Home and Away are typically shot in Sydney’s Summer Bay, or Palm Beach, and the interior scenes are usually filmed in an inner-west studio.
In her Instagram Story, 52-year-old actress Emily Symons, who plays Marilyn Chambers, teased viewers by walking in a hot pink dress and high heels.
“Maz goes to the country,” she captioned the picture, adding a cherry emoji.
The next cast member to provide fans with some hints was 45-year-old Ada Nicodemou, who plays Leah Patterson.
Nicodemou shared four images on Instagram with fellow actors Lynne McGranger, Georgie Parker, and Ray Meagher, who plays Roo Stewart and Alf Stewart, respectively (Irene Roberts).
She wrote “Nice to be away filming together” as the description for one picture and “Out on location shooting something very exciting” for another.
Young was the location for the filming, according to a Channel 7 spokesman.
