What’s next in Summer Bay?
Coming up on Home and Away, Mackenzie and Levi’s baby dreams are cruelly shattered when she suffers a miscarriage.
Elsewhere, Sonny continues to defy everyone, Roo and Alf make up, and Richie messes up at work.

1. Tane offers Sonny a way forward
Tane offers to support Sonny by creating a written workout plan for him, which includes rest and recovery breaks.
Sonny doesn’t like the sound of this, but is forced to accept when Tane insists that he either does things the right way, or he can find another gym.
Afterwards, Tane runs into Lacey and thanks her for helping out at Summer Bay Fitness. Lacey is quick to set Tane straight and insists that she won’t forgive him for what he did to Jo.
2. Cash catches Richie out
David places Cash back on full duties, but then breaks the news that he’ll be training Richie.
Things then go from bad to worse when Cash catches Richie searching through the police database to find out why he was placed on restricted duties.
Furious, Cash reminds Richie that looking up a colleague’s personal file is a serious disciplinary offence. Will he report him to David?
3. Justin makes a discovery
After much back and forth, Alf ultimately decides not to lodge a formal complaint against David.
But there may be a breakthrough in the case when Justin is called out to help a vehicle which matches the description of the one that hit Abigail.
Justin waits until the ute’s owner, Carmen, is out of earshot before making a call to David.
4. Someone is charged for Abigail’s hit and run
David arrives on the scene and asks Carmen to accompany him to the police station for questioning.
He and Cash take Carmen’s statement, in which she admits that she was on the road where Abigail was hit but thought she clipped a car, not a person.
After Carmen is charged, Cash tells David that Richie accused them of covering for Alf, but decides not to dob him in about the database breach.
5. Richie makes another stupid mistake
David arrives at Salt to find Richie drinking in uniform. He is furious with him for breaching the code of conduct and tells Richie one more mistake and he’s out.
Afterwards David breaks the news to Alf about Carmen, who is happy to learn that he’s officially in the clear.
Alf can’t bring himself to share the news with Roo after she initially doubted his innocence. In the end, Leah tells her, and Roo is hurt that her dad didn’t come to her first.
6. Abigail wants to spoil Mac
Abigail is desperate for Mackenzie to have a baby shower and creates a scrapbook full of ideas.
Although touched by the effort, Abigail’s ideas are not Mac’s vibe, so she discreetly asks Eden if she can help organise a more subtle, low-key event.
Abigail and Eden start off at odds, but soon the sisters unite in their desire to give Mac the perfect shower.
7. Remi has his eye on Sonny
Sonny lies to Dana that he’s spending the day with Remi and sneaks off to the gym to carry on pushing himself.
But his lies soon unravel and Sonny has some explaining to do when Remi and Dana confront him mid workout.
Dana forgives Sonny for being dishonest but Remi remains concerned and decides to keep a close eye on his mate.
8. Harper and Tane reach an agreement
Harper asks Dana if she can look after Archie while she works because she fears Tane isn’t physically strong enough to cope.
She shares her concerns with Tane, who is surprisingly understanding about the matter.
In a moment of united parenting, the exes agree that Tane can see Archie as much as he likes as long as someone else is present to help.
9. Roo and Alf call a truce
Roo wants to resolve things with Alf, but he’s still angry that she doubted him.
Fighting back, Roo insists that she only ever wanted to protect him and Alf finally allows himself to see how much she cares.
Father and daughter share a heartwarming reunion as Roo promises to never give up on Alf again.
10. Mac suffers a miscarriage
Salt is buzzing with excitement as the final preparations for Mac’s baby shower are made.
Over at the hospital, Mac and Levi arrive for a scan to reveal the sex of the baby and can’t wait to see their child on the screen again.
But the couple’s delight soon turns to devastation when the sonographer is unable to detect a heartbeat, meaning Mac has suffered a miscarriage.
11. Mac blames herself
Unable to process what she’s just been told, Mac breaks down in Levi’s arms and blames herself for losing the baby.
As she has to decide whether to undergo a surgical termination, Tane heads back to Salt to let everyone know what’s happened.
Eden wants to go straight to the hospital, but Cash warns her against this, insisting Mac and Levi need to deal with their loss in private.
12. Richie finally does something right
David receives a report of multiple car robberies and decides to put Richie on the case to increase his experience.
To Cash’s surprise, Richie does a good job with the case and wins David’s praise.
He also allows Richie to leave duty so he can support Abigail in the wake of Mac and Levi’s news.
