Now and forever.

Leah, a beloved of Summer Bay, has had a difficult journey to the altar, but at last her wedding day has come.

In order to ensure that her relationship with Justin (James Stewart) is sincere and that it will last forever, Leah (Ada Nicodemou) has taken things carefully. And Leah only needs to take one look at her soon-to-be husband to realise it has all been worthwhile.

Ada, 46, tells TV WEEK, “She loves this man and can’t believe her luck to be there and to be marrying him after everything they’ve been through.”

“It’s wonderful to see that joy and celebrate their love, and how patient he’s been with her, how beautiful he is, and how they’ve stuck together through a lot.”

Leah is escorted to the wedding by none other than Summer Bay mainstay Alf (Ray Meagher), as TV WEEK can exclusively disclose. It’s a day full of surprises for the bride, with John (Shane Withington) beating any pre-wedding fears about his celebratory skills.

For once, Leah is content to let go and enjoy the ride because Justin has planned everything.

Ada laughs and continues, “I don’t know if you’re aware of it, but Leah is a bit of a control freak.” “But she made the decision to hand over whole power to Justin before the wedding, so she doesn’t know anything about it.

“She doesn’t know anything about the venue, who is coming, the food, or anything else, but she knows what she’s wearing!”

When Leah finds out early in the day that some of her dearest friends and relatives might not be able to make it, it causes her some stress. But she quickly sheds happy tears upon seeing what awaits her at the secret spot.

Ada explains, “Alf brings her to the wedding, Justin serenades her with a lovely song, and there are unexpected guests.” “This is a lovely, happy day.”

On screen, that is, when Ada discloses that two extremely hot and insect-filled days fell during the wedding’s filming in the NSW Hunter Valley, north of Sydney.

Ada exclaims, “It was filmed at this gorgeous winery; every shot is magical.” “And my wedding gown, created by Velani Couture, who has also created outfits for my Logies over the years, was ideal—simple, sophisticated, and stunning.

“But the issue is that it becomes a bit unpleasant to wear anything corseted in the heat for 16 hours a day, two days in a row! To be honest, even though the garment is stunning, I was relieved to finish it at the end of the second day.

Still, it’s a day Leah has long looked forward to, and she believes that her marriage to Justin will mark the beginning of a long and happy life together.

Ada says, “This is it for her.” She was adamant for a long time that she would never get married again. Even though she adores Justin, she didn’t think that was necessary.

“Yet it feels right, especially for Leah, who hasn’t had much luck getting married before, after the terrible year they’ve had.”

For Ada and Leah as well.

“I told the writers that I wanted their marriage to be nice when it was recommended that they be married. “I want nothing bad to happen,” she declares.

“I believe all we need to see is a gorgeous Home and Away wedding; it’s happy and full of love, and that’s exactly what it is!”
