On today’s Home and Away episode, Ziggy Astoni (played by Sophie Dillman) returns to the Bay (1:45pm – see our TV Guide for listings).
Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor), her boyfriend, is in for some MAJOR news as well.
The surfing contest that Ziggy entered was a success!
She has already received a sponsorship offer as a result.
Is it feasible that Ziggy, the technician from the garage, will soon be a professional surfer?
Ziggy chooses to go surfing again to commemorate her success thereafter!
But when Ziggy unexpectedly emerges from the water, hardly able to stand, things take an unexpected turn.
Fortunately, Bree Cameron (Juliet Godwin), a fellow surfer and doctor, arrives on the situation and performs a medical examination.
Bree wonders if Ziggy might be… PREGNANT since she can’t see any wounds.
The possibility causes Ziggy to tremble.
Since Dean already has a small kid of his own, Jai, the couple hasn’t really given the idea of starting a family together any attention.
Ziggy, who is upset, decides to take a pregnancy test to confirm it.
WHAT will it disclose?
After breaking up with Kirby Aramoana, his bandmate and short-lived girlfriend, Theo Poulos (Matt Evans) is in a bad way (Angelina Thomson).
Kirby’s desire to continue hiding their developing affair from their Lyrik teammates, Remi Carter (Adam Rowland) and Eden Fowler, left Theo feeling betrayed (Stephanie Panozzo).
Concerned about seeing the young man so heartbroken, Theo’s aunt Leah Patterson (Ada Nicodemou) and her boyfriend Justin Morgan (James Stewart) start to worry.
But in the interim, Kirby is beginning to feel bad about how she handled the situation.
Remi and Eden can only speculate as to why their housemate is acting in such an odd manner.
Even her favourite takeout meal can’t make her feel better.
Remi and Eden continue to ignore the awkward environment between Theo and Kirby during the following band meeting.
However, after deciding that enough is enough, Kirby disregards prudence and drags Theo into a passionate kiss in front of an alarmed Eden and Remi!
Uh-oh.
