A brand-new teaser for the final episode of the long-running soap opera Neighbours, which will air in the UK on Friday, July 29, teases an emotional conclusion.
In the 40-second teaser, we catch a peek of Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan, who will reprise their roles as Charlene and Scott, along with a number of other well-known characters from the soap’s 37-year history.
Scott encircles a beaming Charlene as they lean on the bonnet of their car as they appear to arrive on Ramsay Street.
Kylie recently expressed her feelings on going back on set, saying: “First of all, where did the time go? Second, everything appears to be same. Thirdly, memories of Scott, Charlene, Jane, and Harold suddenly flooded in.”
Guy Pearce, who is resuming his role as Mike Young after more than 30 years away from the soap opera, also makes a brief appearance in the trailer.
The epic tale of Izzy Hoyland and Susan Kennedy is about to come to an end when Izzy recently made a surprise trip back to Erinsborough and revealed that she is now dating Malcolm Kennedy.
The news that their son is now getting married to the lady who formerly caused them so many troubles has been difficult for Susan and Karl Kennedy to accept.
Susan can be heard saying: “I am not going to do this again, I want Isabelle out of our life” in the new teaser, making it quite apparent that she intends to get rid of Izzy once and for all.
