Aussie TV sweetheart Sam Frost and her Survivor star husband Jordie Hansen are set to cash in on a deal they nearly walked away from.
Aussie TV sweetheart Sam Frost and her Survivor star husband Jordie Hansen have listed the renovated dream home they almost didn’t buy.
The high-profile couple is preparing to hand over the keys to the 9,368 sqm Noosa Hinterland retreat they secured for $1.185 million in 2023, admitting the decision to upsize for their growing family hasn’t been easy.
“We’re sad to leave our dream home and the memories we’ve made here,” the couple shared ahead of the property’s market launch.

The sale marks the end of a whirlwind chapter that began with a high-stakes auction gamble for the former Home and Away actress after inspecting the property on the day before it went under the hammer.
Disappointed by the sale price of her Sydney townhouse that same morning, Frost nearly skipped the Queensland auction entirely.
The couple instead ended the auction in a tense bidding war, tying with another buyer at $1.18m before Frost dropped a final $5,000 bid to secure the keys.
“I was so excited at the auction — I didn’t think we were going to get it,” Frost said.
Since that nail-biting win, the single-level brick home has been a secluded haven for the family.

Frost embraced the acreage lifestyle and grew vegetables, while a massive 9x6m powered shed immediately caught Hansen’s landscaper eye.
“I love the space of the property — it’s such a great family home,” said Frost, who was the winner of reality show The Bachelorette in 2015.
The property is set amid established native trees and a private dam, while the owners completed an interior refresh before listing.
“We could see the potential and knew it would be a fun project to improve.”

Frost opted for new flooring and a soft, modern colour palette to accent light-filled living spaces under the home’s raked ceilings, creating an elegant update that flows out onto the timber deck.
The family has now decided tomove on after welcoming their second baby, Bobby, last year.
Selling agents Nicola and James Henley of Haven Property Sunshine Coast said the listing was expected to attract plenty of interest.
“Single-level acreage opportunities like this are becoming increasingly difficult to secure in Doonan, particularly with the continued growth we’ve seen across the Noosa Hinterland market,” Ms Henley said.
PropTrack data shows house prices in Doonan were down 1.6 per cent over the past 12 months to a median of $1.9m.
