In Neighbours, a huge incident erupts at River Bend, with one person killed and several critically injured, but clueless Ned (Ben Hall) and Harlow (Jemma Donovan) are getting jiggy under a waterfall.

You can hear the sound of Amy’s heart cracking if you listen closely.

As things get underway, the group sets out to find out what’s going on. It turns out that Ned and Harlow aren’t very good at search parties in the jungle, and they get lost soon. They’re alone, disoriented, and afraid, and they don’t know how to get help. What will become of them?

Amy (Jacinta Stapleton) is concerned since she hasn’t heard from Ned in a long time, which is unusual for him. Harlow hasn’t shown up either, and Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) is starting to get worried. Is it possible that they died in the wilderness?

That’s not the case. This duo may be novices in the field of search and rescue, but they have a few survival strategies up their sleeves. They’re afraid and realise they need to find shelter and warmth, so they go off in quest of a safe place to spend the night. They come across a waterfall and decide to bed down and close together for warmth. Sparks fly, and things quickly become hotter than a wildfire.

The pair is alone in the woods with no sign of help, so they’ll need something to occupy their time. What better method to kill two birds with one stone than to keep them occupied while also creating heat? After giving in to their feelings, they have some steamy times. It is both effective and efficient. And all of this is happening while Amy is pacing the floor at home.

Amy is in desperate need of telling Ned how she feels, so she enlists Toadie’s help in finding her lover. They return to River Bend, the last known location of the two, but they now face a race against the lowering sun.

Fortunately for Amy, the couple has been found safe and sound, allowing her to express her intense feelings for Ned. But she might regret leaving him out in the cold because, unbeknownst to her, Ned’s head is turning. He’s come to terms with the fact that he has feelings for Harlow, and Harlow is convincing himself that he deserves better than Amy.

His thoughts are racing, and his future with Amy appears bleak, until she surprises him with a grand love gesture. His feelings come gushing back and he thinks she’s the one he wants. Harlow attempts but fails to persuade him otherwise. Ned has figured out what he wants, and it isn’t her.

Scenes will begin airing on Channel 5 on Monday, March 14th.
