The last time Harold Bishop (Ian Smith’s character) visited Erinsborough was in 2015 for the show’s 30th anniversary.

And now, as the storied Australian serial opera approaches its Series Finale at the end of July, he’s back.

After travelling to Queensland to see their youngest son Billy and his wife Anne, Karl (Alan Fletcher) and Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) return to their home in the United Kingdom.

But why is the formerly resident of Ramsay Street returning to the city?

And WHY, with the exception of Melanie Pearson (Lucinda Cowden), does Harold appear to be delighted to catch up with everyone else?

WHAT is happening?

Amy Greenwood (Jacinta Stapleton) begins to consider what she REALLY wants as she has more romantic mishaps.

Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Maloney) makes an SURPRISE choice regarding Amy’s future and promises to support his old pal at every turn.

But Zara Selwyn, Amy’s daughter, views Toadie’s unwavering support as much more than friendly (Freya Van Dyke).

Zara speculates that Toadie might also harbour repressed feelings for Amy.

But if Zara’s suspicion is accurate, has Amy left it too late to express her true feelings for Toadie?

In another part of Erinsborough, Byron Stone (Joe Klocek) confides in his sister Nicolette about his misgivings regarding Clive Gibbons (Geoff Paine) (Charlotte Chimes).

Nicolette finds it hard to believe that Clive would cheat on their mother, Jane Harris, despite the fact that he has in the past (Annie Jones).

However, how can Byron know everything there is to know about Clive?

Will Byron be compelled to tell Nicolette about his seductive SECRET side job as a male escort?

And what will Jane do once she learns the source of the golden boy’s wealth?
