Next week on Neighbours, Clive Gibbons (Geoff Paine) will shatter Jane Harris’ (Annie Jones) heart when he is discovered with another woman.
As viewers are aware, the show’s resident doctor is rumoured to be having an affair with Danielle Pendlebury (Christine Stephen-Daly), Byron Stone’s client (Joe Klocek).
In following scenes, Byron, a male escort, suspects Clive of having an extramarital affair with Jane after recognising his voice from an earlier encounter with Danielle.
The newcomer, who is eager to learn more about the relationship between Clive and Danielle, starts his investigation. However, he may soon run into serious difficulties because Nicolette (Charlotte Chimes), another curious person, is also conducting some snooping.
However, Nicolette’s goal is to learn everything there is to know about Byron. Will she find out about his escort cover?
That remains to be known, but Byron quickly comes to the realisation that Nic is better off as a friend than a foe. As a result, he tells his sister about his notion regarding Clive, and the two finally work together to uncover the truth.
The siblings’ investigation enables them to collaborate on their next move in a way they have never been able to before.
But soon after, Byron makes a mistake, and Danielle dismisses him for spying.
Danielle contacts Clive to share her suspicions, fully aware that there is more to this than meets the eye. Clive arrives at her house, where they have a brief private moment.
They are unaware that Nicolette has followed Clive, and she snaps images of the pair’s suspicious encounter after being startled by what she sees.
Jane, who is devastated by the news, doesn’t waste any time in pressing Nicolette and Byron for explanations after they inform her that they believe they have caught Clive in the act.
When forced to tell the truth, Clive tells Jane about a particularly repulsive episode in his life.
Jane visits Danielle in search of clarification, and she eventually reveals some of her own secrets!
