Neighbours reveals first look at Shane Ramsay’s return after 35-year absence

The return of a Ramsay Street original will occur the following week when Peter O’Brien’s Shane Ramsay return scenes air.

When Shane was last spotted in 1987, he quietly moved into a nearby caravan before disappearing forever. That is, until now.

An irate Paul passes by a boisterous party at Lassiters and is shocked to see Shane, one of his best pals from childhood, there.

The reunion makes Paul and Shane both ecstatic, and it doesn’t take long for Shane to explain what has brought him back to Erinsborough after all these years.

Recently, he has experienced some nostalgia for the location and is eager to restore some Ramsay ancestry to the neighbourhood.

And when Shane confesses that he is a millionaire and wants to invest a significant portion of that wealth in Lassiters as an equal partner to Paul, Paul finds this to be of great interest.

Paul is thrilled since the cash would help him out of a tight spot, and the thought of Ramsay and Robinson collaborating on a business venture seems too good to be true.

Unfortunately for Paul, Shane quickly discovers that his old friend has changed over the years and has, to put it mildly, become much more ruthless.

His anxieties are increased by a conversation with Jane, and neither Terese nor Leo do much to convince Shane that working with Paul is a good idea.

Paul’s dream deal appears to be about to collapse around him as Shane begins to investigate Paul’s past and goes to someone who will not be kind.
