The Australian soap has now revealed what adored character Harold Bishop will be up to on his comeback, with the conclusion of Neighbours in approach and the sheer number of returning cast members from years past coming up.

After Hendrix Greyson’s sad death, Karl and Susan Kennedy return from vacation and are shocked by how distant Mackenzie (Georgie Stone) has become. They urge her to talk to her father Grant about their recent arguments, but she shows no interest in doing so.

They are unaware that Harold Bishop’s (Ian Smith) unexpected entrance could make all the difference.

Amy Greenwood avoids Toadie and Melanie when they celebrate their engagement later in the week because she is having trouble finding love.

Zara feels terrible for her mother since she thinks Toadie and Amy are secretly in love, but when she complains to Harold about how unfair things are, she begins to wonder if he feels the same way.

Harold pledges to check into Zara’s worries but declines to assist her in separating Toadie and Melanie. When Amy is asked about Melanie’s dependability in response to his question, she chooses to put her personal sentiments aside and speak positively of Mel. However, Zara is listening in and isn’t ready to let the subject go just yet.

Mackenzie is still having a hard time eating and dealing with her grief in the meanwhile. Harold confides in her about his personal experience with grief after recognising her anguish. Mackenzie feels stronger than she has in a long time as Harold offers advice to her.

On Monday, August 1, a double episode will conclude the soap opera permanently due to Channel 5’s decision to stop airing it in the UK.
