The daughter of Bec and Lleyton Hewitt has been spotted holding a Bunnings umbrella on the set of Home and Away.

Mia Hewitt, daughter of Australian celebrities Lleyton and Bec Hewitt, has secured a role on Home and Away, following in her famous mother’s footsteps. At 19, Mia is the daughter of Lleyton, the tennis star, and Bec, who starred on the soap from 1998 to 2005 as Hayley Smith Lawson.

Before marrying Lleyton in 2005, Bec also launched a singing career. The couple shares three children: Mia, 15-year-old Cruz, and 13-year-old Ava.

Mia has been seen on the Home and Away set, although not in front of the camera. A source revealed to Yahoo Lifestyle that Mia is “well-liked” by the cast and crew. She was spotted assisting the production team with various tasks, including holding a Bunnings umbrella for a cast member at one point. It’s understood that Mia is mainly working in the wardrobe department.

And for Home and Away fans, Mia was even seen holding an umbrella over Harper (played by Jessica Redmayne), who was standing next to a pram. This confirms that baby Tane is alive and well after the dramatic cliffhanger in 2024, where Harper was left fearing for her unborn child’s future.

Apart from her job on the soap, Mia has also been slowly making a name for herself as a budding musician in the band Father’s Favourite, a duo who describe themselves as a “bohemian rock‘n’roll”. Mia plays guitar and also sings.

Mia’s new job comes just after her famous parents stepped into the limelight recently with their 15-year-old son Cruz, who’s followed in Lleyton’s tennis-playing footsteps.

The teen is quickly making a name for himself on the junior circuit, often being compared to his father but saying he doesn’t “mind” the comparisons. “It is what it is. But I don’t really mind,” he said. “It just drives me to be better.”
