Tex Wheeler, a fresh arrival to Home and Away, is concealing a secret that could cause Tane problems.
This week’s episode has charming Tex (Lucas Lineham) and Rose (Kirsty Marillier) working out in the gym.
But after their session, Tex enters the office to check through documents and equipment, and when he departs, he brings a framed picture of Mia (Mia Farrow), Ari Parata (Rob Kipa-Williams), and Tane (Ethan Browne) (Anna Samson).
But why is Tex interested in Tane?
It is made known that Tex is their sergeant-at-arms in addition to being a member of a biker gang.
He informs the group that he is dating the local police officer, which indicates that this relationship is likely to go in one direction, and that he knows who has the money they seek.
“Rose is a really devoted person, trying her best, but she may endure some grief too,” Marillier said in a statement to TV WEEK.
Keeping up his nice-guy character, Tex keeps a tight eye on Tane and Chloe later in the show (Sam Barrett).
Tane discovers the picture and a note with the following message when he gets back to his car and realises that his and his brother’s past has caught up with them “Our cash was stolen by your brother. We desire its return.”
The Parata brothers utilised this money from the bank heist, which they also participated in and which resulted in Ari’s incarceration, to purchase their gym rather than giving it to the biker gang.
Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) inquires about his uncle after sensing his anguish, but Tane avoids answering and instead agrees to meet the motorcyclists that evening.
When Tane arrives, the thugs place a bag over his head and throw him into the back of a van as they appear determined to exact revenge in some way.
