The star of Home and Away has splurged on a one-bedroom flat in Rose Bay, an upscale suburb of Sydney.
The actress, who already has a house in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, is thought to be using it as an investment property.
Realestate.com.au revealed this week that she purchased the tiny 46-square-meter apartment for $680,000 at auction.
The actress should receive between $680 and $700 per week in rent for the property given the area’s strong demand.
The apartment, which has been described as “fresh and airy with a bright sunny disposition,” is close to Bondi Beach by foot.
Listings characterise the single bedroom as “generous-sized,” with an en suite bathroom.
The ‘cosy’ apartment has tastefully decorated interiors, including a well-organized kitchen and a combined living and eating space.
Weir purchased the house for less than half the median apartment price in Rose Bay when it was last sold in 2012 for $382,000, making it an excellent deal for the neighbourhood, according to realestate.com.au.
Emily appears to be on the upswing after she painfully revealed last year that 2022 was very difficult for her and that it caused her to have a “breakdown.”
She told the Herald Sun that her life had become extremely difficult to manage due to a combination of anxiety and burnout.
I had extreme mental and emotional hardship. “I refer to it as a breakthrough, but others call it a breakdown,” she started.
For me, a lot was going on. Many of us went through some very strange mental states after COVID, and I went through an extremely depressive phase.
Weir went on to say that she was able to find her groove again thanks to an unexpected offer from Channel Seven to participate in this year’s Dancing With the Stars.
The narrative of dance is one of survival and relying on the support of one’s community. All of those emotions drove me to do this dance, and it was worthwhile.
