When the Summer Bay resident experiences a sudden dizzy spell, he will find his busy-body ways getting the best of him in scenes set to air this week in Australia and later next month in the UK.

At first, Alf (Ray Meagher) dismisses the worries of those around him, but is it just that he’s overworked working at the caravan park, the bait store, and the surf club? Is there something more concerning going on here?

Tane (Ethan Browne) notices that Alf seems to be in worse shape than normal and offers to assist him at the store. Alf, however, adamant that he can handle it, declines. Later, when his daughter Roo (Georgie Parker) and Marilyn (Emily Symons) say he’s doing too much and should take Tane on for a while, he simply waves them away.

Roo tries to get Alf to slow down, but he’ll never do it because there’s stuff to do, Meagher, 76, told TV Week recently, before revealing that Alf will snap at Roo to get her off his case.

Roo, Marilyn, and Irene (Lynne McGranger) go into panic mode after learning that Alf had a heart attack not long before. They get together to discuss what they should do about his stubbornness. Roo promises to cut her school hours so she can care for her father at the end of the conversation.
