Wonderful to see ABC air a special on Monday night. End of the Road is a neighbourhood.
The self-described Neighbours fan and ABC journalist Margaret Paul examines the impact the show has had, goes behind the scenes as the final episodes are being produced, and gains an understanding of some of the difficulties Neighbours encountered in producing more than 200 episodes annually.
Interviews with TV historian Andrew Mercado, executive producer Jason Herbison, and former cast members Ian Smith and Anne Charleston are all featured in the episode.
I predict ABC Commercial will also promote this one to British viewers.
