Someone betrayed him, Colby is scared.
Friendships continue to break under pressure as Colby ‘s trial approaches this week.
But the question on everyone’s lips is: who turned against him?
In the cell at the police station in Summer Bay, Colby ‘s mind races.
He can’t imagine that he will be turned on by his sister Bella (Courtney Miller), or by Dean (Patrick O’Connor), who was an accomplice in the murder, or by Willow (Sarah Roberts), who stood by him from the beginning.
That leaves Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) and Amber (Maddy Jevic), both of whom Dean has told the truth …
His mind is overdrive. “Tim tells TV WEEK.” Colby would have never put his family on a fire for one second.
He would take the fall faster than he would make it land on someone else.
Detective Angelo (Luke Jacobz), meanwhile, is walking in the air.
Finally, he has his guy and a star witness to make sure he goes to prison.
He can not help but gloat when he comes across Jasmine (Sam Frost) on the beach and adds that Colby can not afford his own bail.
Angelo and Colby are shocked a few hours later, though, when Jasmine puts up her own assets as leverage to bail out her mate.
Before they have a chance to back out, Angelo pretends not to be fazed, but rushes to put a suppression order on his star witness.
With the exception of Ziggy, whom he blames, Colby comes back to town profoundly grateful to Jasmine and his colleagues.
To be a witness.
Dean is mortified by the actions of his partner, with the two nearly coming to blows.
“Between them, there is animosity,” Patrick says.
“Dean advises Colby very simply that he needs to stop doing things that make things worse! Dean is unable to see a way out of this, where anyone is not going to prison.”
Colby goes home and checks the witness list for a name that he knows, but it simply says “Witness X.”
Taylor (Annabelle Stephenson) has been forced to testify against him to make matters worse!
That night, before the hearing, the gang shared their last supper.
Colby can sense the walls closing in and apologises for the harm he has done.
For all, this situation was pretty intense and they all tried to hold it together, “Patrick says.”
“The film was pretty intense, but exciting too!”
When they reflect on what they’ve been through, Colby thinks this could be the last time they’re all together …
