The Hospital Nightmare: Does Mackenzie Lose the Baby?
After a long and painful journey—including a past ectopic pregnancy with Ari Parata and a tragic IVF miscarriage last September—Mac and Levi were thrilled to finally pass their 12-week scan in January. Recently, Mac even felt the baby kick for the first time. However, their joy is about to come to a sudden halt.
This week, Mackenzie heads to Northern Districts Hospital for her next scan to find out the sex of the baby. Levi gets caught up in a work emergency, so Tane (Ethan Browne) steps in to accompany her. Thankfully, Levi rushes into the room just in time.
But the mood instantly shifts. As sonographer Magda puts the jelly on Mac’s stomach, Mac eagerly asks to hear the heartbeat.
“Just one second,” Magda replies, staring intently at the screen.
When Mac asks if everything is okay, the sonographer silently leaves the room to call Dr. Sinclair. Levi’s face immediately drops, sensing that something is terribly wrong.

While Cash remains highly frustrated by Richie’s over-enthusiastic nature, David continues to mentor the rookie. However, David becomes deeply concerned when he catches Richie looking up gun storage safes online. Richie has already shown an unusual obsession with firearms, proudly hanging his shooting range target in the station.
The Huge Twist: A terrifying promo has already revealed that a Summer Bay favorite will be shot soon. Richie is seen running after someone before launching into a high-speed car chase. Is this eager rookie about to pull the trigger himself?
To make matters worse, Lacey arrives early for her shift at Summer Bay Fit only to find the doors wide open and strange noises coming from inside. She immediately calls David to catch the intruder. Are the gym break-in, the car thefts, and Richie’s gun obsession all connected?
