Lacey goes up in front of the magistrate and explains that she killed Holden in self-defence.

After Lacey is given bail, Abigail rallies the Bay residents to show their support.

6. John plays matchmaker

Sonny struggles to move on from Dana, particularly now she’s back in the Bay.

Dana catches up with Harper, then heads to Salt for a drink with John. He reveals Sonny has moved in with Cash and Eden and Dana is hurt that he didn’t tell her he was out of rehab.

The next morning, John tricks Dana and Sonny into meeting at the Surf Club in the hope they can sort things out.

7. Sonny and Dana get back together

Sonny and Dana share an emotional heart-to-heart, where she reveals she’s been doing a course on how to support his condition. Dana tells Sonny that she still loves him and she thinks he feels the same.

Sonny is so caught up in their chat that he ignores Remi’s message. Remi feels neglected and tells his friend not to bother coming with him to hospital.

Later, Sonny is home alone when Dana calls over. He says sorry for all he’s done and she responds by asking for a kiss. The couple are back on!

8. Remi prepares for surgery

Remi takes his motorcycle for one final spin before he heads to the hospital for his operation. He then makes the decision to go to hospital alone after feeling rejected by Sonny and Eden.

11. Remi makes it through surgery

Remi struggles to remain calm on the operating table, but Dr Swan threatens to give him full anaesthesia.

Dr Swan asks for Remi’s guitar, which he begins to play mid-operation to help indicate brain function.

Finally, Dr Swan is able to remove the tumour which she sends off for testing and Remi is put to sleep to complete the surgery.

12. Jo discovers Tane’s whereabouts

David is on the warpath over Tane’s disappearance and demands Cash issues a country-wide warrant for his arrest.

Meanwhile, Jo learns that Tane’s goodbye call came from Mac’s phone. She confronts Mac and is able to learn that Tane is in Exmouth, Western Australia.

Jo wants to keep this information secret, but it’s not long before Cash turns up at her door.

13. Ricky has news for Tane

Out on a boat in Yardie Creek, Brax finds common ground with Tane as they reflect on complicated relationships with their late brothers.

Both men are feeling restless, so Brax decides to put Tane to work mending fences.

It’s not long before Ricky arrives with news there’s a warrant out for Tane’s arrest.

14. Remi faces an uncertain future

Eden has held vigil at Remi’s bedside since his operation. She plays some guitar and eventually Remi opens his eyes.

At first, it seems the surgery has been a success, but then Remi panics when he’s unable to remember the word for guitar.
