In the wake of the passing of his adored grandfather, Lionel Ryan, Home and Away star Jake Ryan published a devastating post.

On Wednesday, the 39-year-old actor paid tribute to “the King of the Ryan clan” by posting a collection of photos to Instagram.

I’ve been dreading this day for a while since this one hurts. Jake said, “Pop, Red, Redbull, the King of the Ryan clan died away quietly last night in his sleep.

“Can’t understand the magnitude of this loss just now,” he continued. He was “The Ryan Family,” and his absence has left a huge void. Those who were familiar with him will know what I mean.

I’m sorry to those who never had the opportunity to speak with him or have a laugh. Miss you horribly already Pop. Rest assured that Aaron is watching over you up there, and you can relax.

There were a few pictures of Lionel on one of his birthdays wearing a dazzling red suit, a royal blue undershirt, and a fake golden crown.

Additionally, he was pictured spending a lot of time with his grandchildren, which included Jake’s lone child Wolf, age 2, whom he has with his fiancée Alice Quiddington.

Another shot showed Lionel dressed in a sporting uniform with his buddies as they appeared to be training before a game.

Former cast members of Jake’s show showered the post with sympathy and condolences.

Sam Frost, who portrayed Jasmine Delaney, his on-screen wife, wrote: “Sending love Jakey x.”

The actor who played Brody Morgan, Jackson Heywood, said, “Big love mate. Penny McNamee (Tori Morgan) said: “Sending you so much love Jakey,” and “So sorry for your loss.” Xxx.’

My sincere condolences, mate, wrote Bren Foster (Stephen Tennyson).

Ryan “Robbo” Shaw, played by Jake Ryan, was tragically killed off in the season premiere of Home and Away in January 2020. Ryan played Robbo Shaw from 2017 to 2020.

He left the programme amicably to look for other film roles.
