Favorite Neighbours actor Ryan Moloney chastised this year’s Logie Awards organisers for the show’s lacklustre homage.
Sadly, Neighbours, which debuted on television 37 years ago, will come to an end in August. However, it did not given the proper send-off at the Logies last weekend.
The Toadie Rebecchi actor shared his thoughts on the trip with Hughesy, Ed, and Erin of 2Day FM, saying: “We turned up and we performed our necessary three-hour talking to people on the red carpet.
“When we entered the room, we were divided into two groups and seated at different tables. It was awful!
Our table was literally positioned in front of the cameras. Even the stage was obscured to us. The product they put together was absolutely unsatisfactory.
After a highlight reel had finished playing, Moloney believed that Neighbours veterans should have been called on stage to say goodbye, but instead two unrelated former cast members were.
Despite the fact that Nat Bassingthwaighte and Daniel MacPherson are both incredibly attractive and that he has nothing against either of them, he stated, “I believe probably the least they could do is ask us to say anything.”
We’re in the bloody [Logies] Hall of Fame, after all.
That’s not how you treat people, especially when it’s a Hall of Fame show. I genuinely do wish the Logies luck.
