Aaron Brennan’s (Matt Wilson) life is on the line in this week’s episode of Neighbours, as he embarks on a harrowing journey to River Bend.
As viewers know, the popular character is desperate to save his marriage.
He and his husband David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) have been fighting nonstop for the previous three weeks, but tensions reached a breaking point when he assaulted David’s friend Dean in the hospital.
Despite their enmity, Aaron eventually consented to join several other Ramsay Street residents on a trip to River Bend.
David, on the other hand, chose to remain put.
For many of our regulars, the trip has been a treat, but Aaron is clearly having to come to grips with what happened between him and David, and as a result, he hasn’t been enjoying it as much as the others.
But, in Friday’s Channel 5 soap, things take a devastating turn when the much-loved regular is left fighting for his life after touching paths with Gareth Bateman.
Does Aaron, on the other hand, die?
Is Aaron killed off in Neighbours?
Aaron’s fate is currently unknown, but after coming into contact with Gareth, things aren’t looking good for him.
Gareth is Freya Wozniak’s (Phoebe Roberts) former love interest, as fans are aware. For months, Freya has been on a mission to find Gareth, feeling he is in grave danger after overhearing something he shouldn’t have.
Levi Canning (Richie Morris) agreed to help her search him down, but the storey took a major turn when Gareth showed up and claimed that Freya was a stalker.
It’s unclear whether his claims are true, but it’s evident that Gareth isn’t innocent in any of this because he showed up at River Bend on Thursday (March 10) and attempted to murder Levi.
In Friday’s episode of the long-running serial drama, Gareth kidnaps Freya, setting in motion a chain of shocking events. Aaron, on the other hand, will try to free her from his clutches.
Outside the bus, Aaron is seen tackling Gareth to the ground, but Gareth eventually has the upper hand and attacks him with a crow bar, much to Freya’s dismay.
David comes across his husband at the side of the road and immediately begins treating his wounds. Will it, however, be too late?
Aaron will be hurried into surgery next week, but will he survive?
All you have to do now is tune in to find out!
Is Matt Wilson on his way out of Neighbours?
There is presently no indication that Matt Wilson will reprise his role as Aaron Brennan on Neighbours.
However, in order to keep the surprises and suspense for the viewers, it’s unlikely that the show or Matt will confirm such information ahead of time.
All we can do now is wait and see!
